Desplains River off limits:
Both the Joliet and the Dresden discharges are off limits from point to point. No boats are allowed inside these areas.
Both Harbor Side and Big Basin marinas are off limits from point to point. No boats are allowed inside these areas.
The Rock Run Rookery off of the Rt. 6 flats is off limit from point to point. No boats or casting into this area is allowed.
All the house cuts on the Kankakee River are off limits. Boating or casting into these areas is not allowed.
No locking through either lock.
No boats are allowed past the Route 55 Bridge
No boat is allowed to be transported in any way over unnavigable land
All persons must remain in their boat at all times unless an emergency happens therefore resulting in disqualification.
Idle Only Areas
The area betwee the Railroad Bridge and the Route 55 Bridge is idle only.
The entire area past the three rivers marina bridge is Idle only.
