Des Plaines River off limits:
Both the Joliet and the Dresden discharges are off limits from point to point. No boats are allowed inside these areas.
Both Harbor Side and Big Basin marinas are off limits from point to point. No boats are allowed inside these areas.
The Rock Run Rookery off of the Rt. 6 flats is off limit from point to point. No boats or casting into this area is allowed.
All the house cuts on the Kankakee River are off limits. No boats or casting into these areas is allowed.
No boats are allowed more than 100 yards past, (east) of the Railroad Road Bridge on the Kankakee River east of the
Des Plaines Conservation Area boat launch.
No locking through either lock is allowed.
